These are the rods proposed by MOG Rods. MOG rods are built for fly fishing but also for the aesthetic pleasure of their owners.
All the rods are built hollow fluted, with two mirror immage tips, and up to 8" lenght they can be made in 2 or 3 pieces.
TIP (DRY FLY) ACTION RODS
MOG 66-4 TA - MOG 66-4 TA HF
This six and one half foot rod for line 4 was developed for small streams especially. This rod's action is medium-fast.
MOG 70-4 TA HF
Action is medium-fast. This thin tip produces a soft and precise touch at short cast. The design of the taper and the type of action allow quite long casts. A rod of this type in the hand of an excellent caster of the SIM - Fly Fishing Italian School - produced casts with the whole tail out of the tip top more a piece of baking! Not bad for a 7' rod!

MOG 76-4 TA HF
Classic length and classic line size. Strong tip action medium-fast rod.

MOG 80-4 TA HF
The tip action of this rod is medium-fast apt for large rivers and for very long casts. A rod with great backup of power.

PARABOLIC ACTION RODS
MOG 76-4 PARA HF
Seven and a half feet, for line 4. Medium action. This is a parabolic taper inspired by the Paul Young Perfectionist. Once the caster becomes used to this taper, the rod can be used in a very wide range of conditions requiring medium and small flies.
MOG 80-4 PARA HF
The action is one of smoothness and feel. Action is medium parabolic on this rod. This outstanding taper is studied and draft by the Italian rodmaker Gabriele Gori.
MOG 80-5 PARA HF
Same taper of the above rods. An eight footer for a line 5. The ideal all around trout rod.
MOG 86-8 PARA HF
8'6" for line 8. A strong rod for large rivers, big flies and big fish. It is completed with a 1.5 inch removable fighting butt. Only in 3/2 configuration.
